Terms of use

The ground rules for using Revyu. This is a draft awaiting legal review.

Using Revyu

We ask everyone to report in good faith. Knowingly false reports, using the reporting system to harass someone, or leaving dishonest or abusive ratings of staff may lead to your access being restricted.

Decisions

Revyu decisions are independent assessments, within the remit that participating servers have accepted. They are not legal judgments, and they are not Discord actions unless the platform shows that Discord has confirmed them.

Challenges

Each decision may be challenged twice at most, within 30 days of the most recent decision.

Rating staff

Once your case is decided you can rate the staff who decided it. Ratings are shown publicly without your name. Founders may hide a rating that is abusive or off topic; the hidden rating stays on record with the reason.

No payments

Revyu is free to use. Nothing can be bought that would affect a decision.

Your safety

Revyu cannot help in an emergency. If anyone is in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services. Illegal content should be reported to Discord Trust & Safety and to the relevant authorities.

Availability

Revyu is in beta and runs on modest infrastructure, so some features may occasionally be unavailable. When that happens, we show you the real state of each action rather than claiming it succeeded.
